Our mentors come from

Matt Tibbitts is a junior in Eliot House. Matt studies applied mathematics and economics alongside environmental science and public policy. Matt has previously served as the Secretariat for the Harvard Student Agencies MUN and is currently serving as president of the senate in Harvard Model Congress. Matt is currently working as a legislative director in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. In his senior year of high school, he was elected to the Massachusetts Board of Elementary and Secondary Education where he represented over 954,000 students, spoke at numerous education conferences, and was published in a national policy journal. In his free time, Matt can be found playing board games with his friends or playing the drums.

Matt Tibbitts

Adrián Muñoz is a sophomore in Pforzheimer House, studying social studies. Adrián currently sits on the board of Harvard Model Congress’s Boston conference and was previously a board member for their San Francisco branch. When he’s not doing model congress, Adrián teaches speech and debate to middle schoolers and has worked alongside the Institute of Politics to advise the city of Cambridge on urban agriculture initiatives. In his free time, Adrián writes poetry, reads fiction, and maintains a daily journal.

Adrian Munoz Krans

Nahla is a sophomore at Harvard. She hopes to study Government and Educational Studies and work in education policy after graduating. When she’s not working with Harvard Model Congress, you can probably find her rehearsing with Expressions (the hip-hop dance group), teaching 5th graders about civic engagement with the CIVICS program, or organizing events for the Institute of Politics.

Nahla Owens

Alyvia is a junior at Harvard College. She is pursuing a joint concentration in Government and History, with a secondary in Education, and two language citations in Spanish and in American Sign Language. Outside of HMCSF, Alyvia volunteers with a mentorship group for young girls in the Boston/Cambridge area, and she is also involved in the Harvard Political Review and Harvard Model UN. In her free time, she can be found drinking coffee, watching Friends or playing with her Cavachon puppy, Czarina.

Alyvia Bruce

Ryan Jung is a sophomore at Harvard from Irvine, California. He is currently studying social studies with a secondary focus in educational studies. Alongside his involvement in HMC San Francisco, he also holds the position of Director of Operations for Harvard Model Congress Boston. Apart from his responsibilities at HMC, he finds great joy in teaching civics to fifth graders, exploring the art of film photography, and embarking on a quest to find the best iced coffee spots in Boston.

Ryan Jung

Alisa is a rising senior and concentrates in Neuroscience and Linguistics. In school, she is involved with literary magazines like The Harvard Crimson, as well as teaching conferences like Harvard Model Congress. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, listening to music, and traveling.

Alisa Regassa

Andre Ramsey is a sophomore at Harvard College planning to study social studies with a focus field in abolition. He serves on the board of HMC Boston, HMC San Francisco, and HMC Europe where he uses his passion for education to uplift the next generation of civil servants. In his free time, Andre enjoys writing poetry, working out, and grabbing coffee with friends! 

Andre Ramsey

Ella Dotzler is a first-year at Harvard College planning to concentrate in Government or Social Studies with a plan to attend law school later on. She grew up in Big Lake, Minnesota, and enjoyed ballet, tennis, working at Target, and student government. At Harvard, Ella is involved on the Crimson Business Board, a couple of Institute of Politics programs, and Harvard Model Congress.

Ella Dotzler

Cole is a rising sophomore at Harvard College studying computer science and electrical engineering. Outside of his coursework, he is an active member of Harvard Data Analytics Group, working with a team to consult with major international corporations. Cole’s hobbies include studying languages, and he is passionate about traveling and exploring the world.

Cole Harten

Lydia Fraser is a rising junior at Harvard College pursuing a double concentration in Art, Film, & Visual Studies and Government and a language citation in French. Outside of class, her involvements include FIG. Magazine, the Chinatown Afterschool Program, and The Seneca. Her spare time is often spent shopping at flea markets, visiting museums, reading, and watching movies!

Lydia Fraser

Franny Connors just finished her first year at Harvard College where she is planning to concentrate in Applied Math Economics with a secondary in Energy and the Environment. She is interested in sustainable development and climate change solutions. Franny loves the Harvard community and is also part of Harvard Model Congress and captain of the Harvard Women’s Club Lacrosse team. She is originally from Cleveland, Ohio, but has fallen in love with Cambridge. In her free time, Franny likes reading, running, and spending time outside with friends.
